Fancy-pants Mayonnaise Tea Sandwiches: Vegan mayonnaise can be made by substituting 1/2 cup soy milk for the egg yolk. You may need to use a blender instead of hand-whipping this version.

Homemade Vegan Mayonnaise

Yogurt Freezer Tarts: Vegan’ yogurt can be made by combining coconut milk with a vegan yogurt starter and letting sit under a cheese cloth. This still uses live cultures and may not be appropriate for all vegan diets.

Buttermilk Cheese Critters: AVOID. This recipe requires the use of dairy milk.

Poppin’ Lemon Drops: Okay

Summer Nachos With Acid 3 Ways: Vegan sour cream can be made by blending 1 cup soaked cashews with 1/2 cup water and 1/4 lemon juice. Or, serve without sour cream.
