The All-Clear is the public bulletin of the Pacific Rim Emergency Project, published weekly from Site Zero, San Diego County, in the years after something very large came out of the sea. It’s the in-world newsletter for Leviathan Rising, the tabletop roleplaying game from Oddfish Games.
We reserve a page in each issue for the classifieds. The in-game posts on this page range from lost cats to boats for sale by men who have seen something horrifying enough that they are never going out to sea again.
Making this purchase buys you space to add your own advertisement. What you get with your purchase is a short classified ad, written in character by the Bulletin's editors, using details you provide to us. You can advertise a real business, a fake one, a club, a class, a game, a birthday message, or just use the space to tell everyone about how cool your cat is.
Your ad will be included in the bulletin, which we will promote on social media and in a mailing list of over 2,000 fans. It will run in every weekly issue from now until the Kickstarter launches on March 2, 2027, so it's smart to get in as early as you can to get the best bang for your buck.
The newsletters will still exist after the game launches, serving as a resource that gives GMs world flavor, lore, images, audio, video, sample NPCs, and adventure hooks. So your ad stays in the archive after the campaign.
Before you add one of the ad types to your cart, be sure to answer the questions in the text boxes about what you'd like to promote and what you'd like to be sure to include. The editors will write it to fit the bulletin style and the in-world year. The newsletter covers events from the late 1950s to the 1960s, so we will tweak modern language and imagery to at least give it the veneer of that era. You'll see a draft before we publish it and will have one round of feedback and changes.
We reserve the right to decline an advertisement (with a full refund) if we are uncomfortable with the content in any way. And per our AI art policy, we will not use any AI art in our game or associated resources.
There are three types of ads available:
Personal Notice ($10): You get up to 20 words placed in the Personal Notices section.
Text-only Advertisement ($20): You get up to 40 words in the Advertisements section. You may include a link.
Advertisement with Image ($30): You get up to 40 words in the Advertisements section. You may include a link. We will adapt an image you submit to our art style or create a simple period-style image built from stock, based on your details. If you submit an image, it must be one you created or that you have a license/permission to use.
